Mascara Comparison: Rimmel Lash Accelerator vs Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara

Today I purchased two mascaras that I've had my eye on for a while.  The first was Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara with Grow-Lash Complex.  Rimmel says "Lash Accelerator Mascara is our first mascara that actually helps to promote the natural growth of beautifully long, remarkably strong lashes. Instantly, your lashes will look up to 80% longer, but then after 30 days of continued use, they’ll appear up to 117% longer looking. Our first mascara with GROW-LASH complex, Lash Accelerator promises to strengthen lashes, renewing and restoring them."

The brush on this is small and thin, but slightly thickens in the middle.  I loved using this mascara, it coated every lash well and because the brush was so thin, I was able to get every lash.  The best part was that it actually combed my lashes too and didn't leave any clumps at all.  My lashes didn't stick together either, which drives me demented with certain other mascaras.

I'm gonna try this mascara for the 30 days and see how it does with the lengthening promise.  I'll take a before and after picture and see what happens.

The second mascara was Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara.  Collection 2000 says "Double your lash length in one fell swoop.  The unique 3D lash boosting tube technology wraps around each lash for a ‘lash extension’ effect.  Plumps and stretches each lash without clumping or smudging."

The brush on this mascara was huge and thick!  But it was really easy to use and didn't get in the way when I was trying to get all the baby lashes.  Usually with brushes like this one, there's a lot of clumping, but there wasn't a clump to be seen.  Once again, there was no sticking together of my lashes when it was drying, so I was a happy bunny.

To compare these two mascaras, I put one on each eye.  Then I put a second coat on each eye, and finally, I lined my upper waterline just to see what it looked like.   On my right eye I applied the Collection 2000 Big Fake False Lash Effect Mascara and on my left eye was the Rimmel Lash Accelerator.  As you look at the pictures below, they are labelling is reversed since you're looking at it face on, if that makes sense!
1 Coat          Left: Collection 2000   Right: Rimmel

2 coats          Left: Collection 2000   Right: Rimmel

2 coats plus lining upper waterline          Left: Collection 2000   Right: Rimmel
On first impressions, I love both of these mascaras.  The brushes make me happy, the consistency makes me happy, so too does the no clumping and no sticking :)  I will report back when I've used them some more.  Many a time I've loved a product on first using it, only to find fault with it after a while, but I have a good feeling about these two!!
