Quickie girlie bits - Tesco face wipes

While doing my shopping on Saturday in Tesco, I found myself on the makeup and cosmetics aisle (how convenient!).  Anyway, I managed to make it all the way to the top of the aisle without putting anything into my trolley when lo and behold, I made eye contact with the Tesco Vitamin E products.  I tried to look away but then saw these little babies and knew I had to try them.

I am a face wipe junkie and have become more so since starting this blog.  I've tried a good few brands and must actually do a comparison of them all soon.

Tesco says "This range has been enriched with Vitamin E for its anti-oxidant, protecting and conditioning properties to care for your skin.  These wipes have been specially formulated to remove makeup, cleanse, tone and moisturise your skin, leaving it soft and smooth"

I say that for 95 cent, these are pretty good!  They've a lovely fresh smell and take off my makeup easily.  I feel that they do cleanse and tone my skin but I'm not sure about moisturising.  My skin feels slightly tight after using them, but nothing uncomfortable by any means.

These wipes have come the closest to my all time favourite Boots Cucumber Cleansing Wipes, than any other wipe I've tried, so I would recommend to a friend :)

The package itself has a little peel back flap on the front of it, so here's a wee tip, store them upside down so that the top wipe becomes saturated with the product and bob's you're uncle!  Has anyone tried any of the other products from the Vitamiin E range?  I think I'll have to have a go since I'm so impressed with my new wipes :)

  2. I store mine upside down but your logic is better, I just do it so the wee flap doesn't open and leave me with a big dry wipe!

  4. I use these too, never thought to store upside down though, what a great tip!
Also wondering, you posted a while ago about the Konad nail stamp and made me want to get it. Do you still use it at all or is it something you love when you first get it then it gets forgotten in a drawer?

  5. @Hannah-Lou - to be honest, I've only used the Konad nail stamp a couple of times, but I think it's because I'm not mad on the plates I have. There are 2 designs that I really like and that's it. I got another plate in the post this week that's cute so will be trying that out, but what I'd really love is the nail plates with the leopard print designs and the ones with the different french tips too, I'd deffo get more use out of them :) Do you have any and if so would you recommend the ones you have?

  6. I don't have any yet, but since I saw your post about them before I keep meaning to get some cheap on ebay to try out. I'm a bit short on cash right now as just moved house, so hopefully some time in the near future I can get myself a set and see how they turn out!
