*CLOSED* Sigma F80 brush review and giveaway! *CLOSED*

Ladies, I am in the love.

The lovely folk over at Sigma Makeup sent me the Sigma F80 Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki brush for joining their affiliate program.  A quick explanation of the affiliate program is that if a reader clicks on one of my banners or links to Sigma and buys something, I make a small commission.

Anyway, back to the brush.  I'd seen a few Youtube videos with gurus talking about the brush and was really excited to get to try it out.  I have a couple of kabuki brushes that I don't use that often and would never use them to apply my foundation.   I've been switching between my Mac 109 and this brush I got in TK Maxx last month.

Sigma says This exclusive flat top synthetic kabuki was designed to deliver a flawless makeup application. The Sigma Makeup F80 is a buffer brush that can be used to blend powder or liquid products. The short and dense bristles make it easy to buff your liquid foundation. The long handle adds comfort to your makeup application. The synthetic fibers are ideal to be used with liquid products and can be easily cleaned. Made of Synthetic Sigmax HD filament.

This little flat headed brush is one of the best brushes I've used to apply my foundation, hands down.  The bristles are so thick and super soft that seeing is believing.  I used it this evening to apply my foundation, in this case my Illamasqua Light Liquid Foundation that I forgot about but rediscovered during The Big Makeup Organisation of 2011!  I will review the foundation itself later, but it applied the foundation like a dream.  There were no patchy bits, no flakes on my skin, just smooth, even coverage.

This shows you how thick the bristles are.  They're tightly packed but still allow lots of movement to smooth the foundation over your face.  I cannot express to you how soft these bristles are and even though I will sound like a lunatic now, as I've been writing this post, I keep stopping to run the brush over my face hehe No lie :)  The photo below shows the finish that the brush gave.  I applied Benefit's Hoola bronzer as a contour to see how it worked with the brush and it worked a treat.  At first I had heart failure as I had used the edge of the brush to draw an extremely sharp line down my cheekbones, but once I started buffing, it blended the bronzer like there was no tomorrow :)

This has now been added to my makeup bag and shall be shown to all my Twitter buddies tomorrow evening at the NYC A Wear event that the lovely Claire invited me to!

*This giveaway is now closed!  Good luck to everyone who entered!*

Now, on to the juicy stuff!  Sigma were generous enough to give me a second brush to give away to a lucky follower!  As a brush junkie, I'm telling you that you need this brush in your life.  Do not doubt me on this :)

The boring stuff:  To be in with a chance to win this brush, just leave a comment below, it can be anything :)  You must be a follower of this here blog :)  That's it!  The giveaway ends on April 30th at midnight GMT, it is open internationally.  Random.org will be used to pick the winner.  I will contact the winner by email to get their address which I will then give to Sigma who will send you the brush.
