Ciaté Heritage Collection - featuring Regatta

Look what Ciaté have in store for us now ladies!  They've called their Autumn/Winter 2011 trend the Heritage Collection and with names like Regatta, Fit for a Queen, Tweed and Tails and Cream Tea, we're one step closer to saying phrases like "tally ho old chap" and "jolly hockey sticks" in our day to day life.  Well, maybe not, but we will have really pretty nails instead that are on trend and that suits me grand.  It's a bonus that the Paint Pots are Formaldehyde and Toluene free.
L-R: Regatta, Cream Tea, Fit for a Queen, Tweed and Tails
I was sent Regatta to play with and as soon as I opened the package and saw the bottle, I "oohed" and immediately went to get my nail wheel, coat still on, so I could see what it was like.  Swatch done, decision made, I was wearing it on my nails that night and so my outfit was planned around this nail polish.

Regatta is a denim blue nail polish shot through with lots of silver shimmer.  The shimmer looks a lot more obvious in the bottle but is beautifully subtle on the nails.

This polish dries to a matte finish but I decided to show you what it was like with and without a topcoat.  Seche Vite was used here and it brings the blue to the forefront.  I must say, I like it without the topcoat.  I've only a couple of matte polishes in my collection and it's nice to have something different for a change.

You can buy the Heritage range from Ciaté's website here.  They retail at €10.50 each and Ciaté are currently offering free shipping on purchases over €20.

Will you be picking any of these up ladies?
