Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask Review

Described as a "reviving, fast acting mask for instant radiance", Liz Earle's Brightening Treatment Mask is one that only takes between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to work.  This makes it the perfect pick me up for your skin if you're always in a rush in the morning like moi.  What I've been doing is using it twice a week, applying it before brushing my teeth.  By the time I'm finished with my teeth, it's time to wash the mask off and I'm sorted, clean teeth and glowy face all in the first five minutes of the day!

With ingredients including aloe vera to sooth the skin, camphor oil to stimulate it, D-panthenol to help skin renewal, witch hazel to help tone the skin and white clay to help draw out impurities and absorb excess sebum, this is labelled as not being suitable for sensitive skin.  The bottle says to expect a slight tingling sensation because of the camphor, but I've yet to experience that.  Obviously I have elephant skin with no sensitivity at all, so just be aware if you're of a more delicate disposition in the skin department.

The pump dispenses just the right amount to cover your visage and it has a loose clay like feel to it.  You slap it on your face and go on your merry way, using a wet muslin cloth to remove it.  I love the camphor smell but I know some won't.  It verges on the medicinal end of the scent spectrum but is zingy and fresh which helps wake me first thing in the morning too.

The 50ml bottle retails at €16 on it's own, or for €17, you can get a 50ml pump and muslin cloth.  If you're more of a tube fan and want to control how much you dispense each time, there's a 50mg tube for €14.50 all available here on the Liz Earle website or in Wilde and Green in Milltown.

I love that masks don't need to be a night time treat anymore!

*Disclosure - This was sent to me for review and these are my very own thoughts and opinions, I'm good like that!*
