Shoe-ston we have a problem...

On Saturday, Joanne and I had a wander around town, "just for a look".  Famous last words.  I don't know if the sunny weather got the best of me, but I ended up buying three pairs of shoes.  Yes, three.  But (here comes the justification), even though I'm on my weight loss journey and am back with a bang after being sick for a couple of weeks, shoes always fit!

We had our usual wander through Penneys and I fell in love at first sight when I clapped eyes on these...

Turquoise anything makes me happy and catapults me into the summer.  They've a little flat bow on the toe and elastic at the heel, so technically they shouldn't hurt me, although almost every shoe invented gives me blisters, but I don't care, I love them and will risk it for a biscuit.

Em.... I bought them in white too....

Now I know I'm a messy person and whenever I wear white tops, I always spill something on them, so what was I doing buying white shoes?  I'm sure I've already managed to dirty them just trying them on and bringing them home.  BUT I LOVE THEM.  I keep putting them on at home and saying to Joanne "look at them Joanne, look look look" and her automatic response now is "yes Karen, your white shoes are lovely, the end."  I have her trained well.  They were €8 each and you can't go wrong with that.

So after Penneys, we went to New Look for a gander.  I'd had my eye on nude wedges and forgot all about them having not allowing myself into the shops all month.  I saw these glittery sandals in the distance and hovercrafted over to try them on.

They have a weeny little wedge and a plait detail on both straps that go across the top of the foot.  I'm looking forward to wearing them with long dresses or skirts and for €17.99, I was a happy camper.  Oh, and they're glittery.  Say no more.

I'm kind of afraid to ask this in case I hear of something I like the sound of, but have you made any cute shoe purchases recently?

  8. I love the turquoise ones, I would have snapped them up too! I wouldn't bother with the white ones for the same reason as you - they'd get dirty immediately!

But sadly, no, I haven't bought any cute shoes for months!

    Cheers,
