First of all, they're bloody Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes! You know how much I absolutely love them and if you don't, read about my Sally Hansen army here! Second of all, look at the colours, they're perfect for spring and summer. Thirdly and this is the clincher, sit down folks.... They were €1.49 each. Do not adjust your monitor. You read that correctly... So we were like lunatics and scavengers trying to see what colours they had and chose these five, leaving a glittery and pearly one behind. We also picked up a couple for a giveaway.

My poor nails are in bits at the moment so I'm giving them a little break from polish but I like to line these up and just admire them. Just because. I had a look online and the shades are from the Spring 2011 collection, so not readily available in Ireland. I've had some great luck in the past finding bargains in Dealz and Poundland and the likes. I've found Rimmel, Revlon and some Gosh stuff. It's hit and miss but definitely worth a squizz if you're in there!
My next bargain was just too good not to tell you about. So, last Friday, Joanne, Mam and I went to Belfast for the day. We went to an Asda just outside of the city which had lots of clothes and we spent ages trying lots on, my least favourite part of shopping, but sure it has to be done. Anyway, Joanne picked up this dress for me and I liked it and went to try it on along with some navy skinny jeans that I loved.
As soon as I tried the dress on, I knew I loved it. It fit me perfectly, was the right length and I felt really comfy in it, knowing I wouldn't be pulling and fixing it all the time. I showed Mam and Joanne; Joanne liked it on and tactful Mammy said "No, don't like it, it looks like a dressing gown on you". So I said back to her, "Right, well I'm going to buy it now just to spite you". Then I got annoyed and put it back. Ten seconds later I got even more annoyed and said to myself no, you like it on, get it and also get it to spite her, it was reduced from £16 to £10, I could afford a tenner for a bit of spite.
So I went up to pay for the Dress Of Spite and no word of a lie, it rang in at £1. A pahhhhhnd, one quid, you get the jist. Who knew spite could be so cheap? Seriously though, I was delighted and immediately said to the lady, "I'd like to pay for it now please" before she had a chance to question it and take away the absolute joy and smugness I had that I'd stuck to my guns. It doesn't matter now if I never wear it, it was a pounddddddd!
So folks, what's been your best bargain recently?
