Getting holiday ready - tootsie time with the MicroPedi

Ok, you can unclench, I'm not going to show any photos whatsoever of feet, mine or otherwise!  Annnd relax....  Last week was one of the more surreal bloggy moments I've had so far and it involved me having the chats with the stunning Rosanna Davison in the Dylan Hotel while having my feet sanded.  And it was all because of this product that I'm sure everyone has seen on TV, the Micro Pedi from Emjoi.

Promising to give us "beautiful feet in seconds", I was in.  See, I neglect my feet, especially during the winter where they rarely see the light of day.  I also hate my feet and think they're just gross so try to ignore them as much as possible.  But now that it's allegedly coming in to summer, action must be taken and I'm hopefully not alone in saying that seeing other people's feet is gross, but seeing other people's feet with hard, dry skin just makes me have to look the other way.  I don't want to be one of those people ladies!!

The Micro Pedi will be my saviour this summer and has made it into my luggage for my holidays.  Except I'm totally checking it in, I don't want to pull a Tulisa and have something vibrating in my carry on.  The Micro Pedi is around the same size as an epilator, but has a roller at the top that rotates 30 times per second.  You move it over the dead skin, being sure to use it when the skin is fully dry.  There's a mechanism that switches it off if you push down too hard which is good for those who get a bit carried away!  Two AA batteries is all you need to set you on your way.

It doesn't hurt, it tickles a bit and it works.  My feet have never been smoother and I didn't have to feel like I was grating cheese when trying to get nice feet.  Always a bonus eh?

  2. Although it does make a little bit of a worrying sound it is perfectly safe to use. If you push too hard on any area of the skin the roller slows down, or even stops, to make sure that you don't over exfoliate any areas. Emjoi Micro Pedi
