Well hello ladies, it's a lovely sunny Sunday out there and I'm back with my Favourite Five posts from my fellow bloggers.
This post from Andreea over on Yourbeauty.ie literally had my face about 2 inches from my computer screen. I love everything coral and so does she.... Please go look at this post allllll about coral lip products!
Emma over at Fluff and Fripperies inspired me to wander through the hills of Ireland. Well, Wicklow anyway... I'm a Dub and barely know the Southside, let alone the rest of the country! Take a look at the gorgeous photos over on her blog!
Lynnie over on Lyndar the Merciless wrote about one of the annoyances of being a blogger; having your photos stolen/credited as someone elses. Go read all about it here. Be original folks and credit people for their work!
Cherrysue (yes, I totally forget and call her that in real life sometimes) showed us some of the nail polish offerings from Max Factor this week. I drooled.
Am totally obsessed with this Vampy gradient manicure over on Love. Varnish, chocolate and more... and I need to learn how to to it. Look and see for yourself!
This week was a quiet one event-wise and I took advantage of having some free time as next week is going to be a busy one! I just wanted to briefly speak about something that I've noticed recently in the beauty blogging community. I've surrounded myself with some really great ladies (yes, I'm calling ye ladies) who are so supportive and are genuinely happy when exciting things happen for me. I'm not a star in anyone's midst, quite the opposite in fact. I'm scarlet/mortified/delighted when something great happens and it's made all the better by having bloggy pals who are just brilliant and that's not to mention the people I don't know who tweet me lovely messages all the time. It's greatly appreciated and each one makes my day.
I strive to keep the blog positive and good craic. I pretty much only post about things I love because it's hard enough to find the time to write about those things, let alone products that didn't work for me. So there are just a couple of points I wanted to make. There's no need for sly digs at the fact that I'm posting twice a day. It doesn't affect you. My readers are seriously fantastic and have never left a sly comment about another blogger. If they did, it would be deleted and not encouraged. I've no interest in interacting with those who are so blatantly negative in such a public way. Jog on!
Anyway, enough of that! I've an exciting week coming up, kicking off with the L'Oreal Colour Trophy Awards tomorrow night, so I must go and attempt to fake tan myself. I'm wearing a light turquoise dress and any orangey tinged tan could go horribly wrong!!
Have a good week everyone!
