Sleek Suede Blush, review and swatches

Continuing on with my Sleek purchases, we're on to blushes.  Well, Suede blush to be exact.  I don't know what it was about this colour that made me buy it.  I'm usually all about the bright, peachy, corally blushes in the summertime but there was something about this that made me get it.  It kind of reminded me of an Avon blush that the Pixiwoos use in some of their videos, so I had to get it and try.  I picked mine up from Cloud10beauty.com for €7 with their super fast shipping (I got my package the following day!) and I couldn't wait to plop this on my face.

In the pan, it doesn't look like anything too special.  But once it's on the cheeks, that's when the magic happens for me.  With it's slightly satin finish, Suede gives me a really natural flush of colour on my face and any time I wear it, people compliment me on my skin and that's never a bad thing eh?!  It's buildable, blendable and has fast tracked itself towards the top of my favourite blushes.

I can't explain how subtle it is, so let me show you...

It gives dimension and adds shape to my face along with adding colour.  I am in The Love and am still surprised I love it so much!

What Sleek blush should I try next folks?  Do we like Suede?

  1. Really lovely on you. I bought the oh so special palette yesterday after reading your review and I don't think there is a colour I won't use. Thanks for the heads up.

I nearly picked up the blusher the coral shade (can't remember name looks like a rather famous one from Nars ;) may be going back for a blusher now. Are you trying to bankrupt me? Though, to be fair the range is temptingly reasonable x

  4. OOOH. Good pick. I'm always on the hunt for cheapy mattes that can be used for contouring and that is a winner.
