First up is shade #709 Miss Candy, a lilac gloss mixed together with a silver shimmery gloss. It gives a beautiful sheen on the lips and plumps up my pout beautifully. It's not gritty and feels really thick and unctious without being sticky.
Next up is shade #712, Dolce Pralina which is a pearlized bronze shade mixed with a silver shimmer again. I was expecting to look like a robot with this on after I swatched it on my arm but I was pleasantly surprised that it gave a subtle metallic finish and would fit in perfectly with the metallics trend I posted about here.
Last but not least is shade #703, Tarte Lollipop and is a sheer red gloss swirled together with a pink shimmer infused with blue glitter. Sounds mental but it's actually really subtle on and gives my lips a hint of colour.
Each gloss has a heart shaped applicator that makes it so easy to keep to the shape of your lips without needing a mirror. €11.29 is the damage which is on the steep side for a gloss in my opinion but I always keep an eye out for the 3 for 2 offers on in Boots and Superdrug. If you're a gloss lover, then definitely check these Dinky glosses out!

The #712 shade is gorgeous I picked it up yesterday

They're lahhhhvely but maybe a little steep for moi, I'd be thinking of adding a couple more eurobux and picking up a Lip Glass - I say that nonchalantly, like I have money ;)
ReplyDeleteAgreed sue - what is it with chemist makeup costing so much these days - madness
ReplyDeleteBig fan of loreal glam shines myself- love purple obsession from original 6hr collection.now why they call it purple obsession is beyond me cos its more of a bronzey Brown colour& dupe for chanels gloss in blizzard if there was ever one!Im inclined to agree though- these are a bit pricey- i could be tempted if boots Did a 3 for 2 perhaps!!
ReplyDeletePrice is also putting me off, I only buy stuff like this if I fall in love with it and have a whack of Boots points saved up. They're packaged really well, mind - I could see myself falling for them if I did have spare cash. Which is never :)
ReplyDeleteSorry but it seems that there is no significant difference in the "before and after" shots.
