I got to thinking. I wanted to contour the livin' Jaysis out of my face, Lord knows I could use the help. So after receiving these Pure Care Cover Sticks (€16.95) from the Dr Hauschka team last week and some concealer pen brushes from La Roche Posay (~€13 - will double check that) when in France, I thought what better way to show you how they work in a fun way.

Joining 01 Natural and 02 Beige, comes shade 03 Sand in the Pure Care Cover Sticks for the darker skinned ladies out there. Promising to help heal your skin after blemishes, I'm currently testing Natural out on a whopper pimple that appeared on my face the other day. I'll report back on the progress of said pimple. What I can say so far is that once I warm the concealer up on the back of my hand, it becomes lovely and creamy and sits nicely over the second head I'm growing, hiding it from those who feel it necessary to point out things like that to you. Like I didn't see it when it said Hi to me this morning?
Next is the La Roche Posay Toleriane Teint Concealer Pen-Brushes for fair skin, olive skin and there's a redness corrector too. These are lovely and creamy and blend so easily. You can use the redness corrector if you want to conceal a scar or rosacea whereas the regular concealers can be used to cover dark circles or imperfections.

I applied a layer of foundation and then got contouring. I started off by applying the Pure Care Cover Stick in shade 01 Natural where she has the proper white concealer. I mean, that's actually white on her face! But anyway, I did that and blended it in. I then applied the Pure Care Cover Stick in shade 03 Sand under my cheekbones but it wasn't dark enough for what I wanted. So on went a big layer of the Toleriane Teint Concealer Pen Brush for olive skin. I applied it in the hollows of my cheeks and in my temples and blended the living daylights out of everything.
I don't think the lightest concealer from Dr Hauschka is light enough for what I was trying to do, but it's a gorgeous concealer if you're wanting to hide stuff. I'd great craic basically applying a mask onto my face and wonder how our Kimmy can sit with all that on her mush every day! Applying essentially a face full of concealer is not the best way to go through life but sure I think my skin looks pretty flawless!
I'm loving both sets of concealers and I've no reason to have any blemishes forever! You can find a full range of Dr Hauschka stockists here. And you can find all things La Roche Posay in pharmacies nationwide.
So tell moi, do you like to do a bit of contouring like Kim?
