Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani - Rouge 400 review, photos, swatches

You know those products that as you're applying them, you're saying to yourself "Yeah... Just yeah...."  This is one of those products.

Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani in the shade Rouge 400 is quite possibly the most stunning red lipstick I've ever seen.  Coming in sleek black glossy packaging, it looks fancy.  Then when you realise it closes magnetically, that brings it up to fancy schmancy.  Only a proper beauty junkie gets such pleasure out of showing people that their lipstick closes magnetically.  Normal folk don't get it.  Anyway, on to the lippie in question....

Giorgio Armani Rouge d'Armani - Rouge 400

Isn't she beautiful?  I've mentioned in the past that I'm afraid of red lipsticks but this one has me captivated.  It has a satin finish which feels smooth and comfortable on the lips and is really flattering on.  It doesn't dry my lips which is crucial for me as mine are always cracking.  To me it's a Hollywood red, slightly leaning towards a blue tone red.

Now, I haven't had the courage to wear it outside in public yet, but I've been wearing it around the house and catching myself in the mirror doing little pouts!  I've some events next week and I think I'll be wearing it to one of them at least.  So between now and then I'd better practice my pout some more!

I know.  Gorgeous isn't it?  It's not drying, stays put and is basically a joy to wear.  It's the most elegant lipstick in my collection and for something this amazing, you'll have to be ready to part with €26.00.  I got this at an event recently and want more, so stay tuned.  Until then, big kisses ladies!

  2. It looks gorgeous! I was so happy when I found my perfect red in Sephora. I'd always found it tricky because I have a pretty red complexion (as in, it's fairly red, NOT pretty and red) But this one works great. Instant glamour!

  3. That is a gorgeous colour. Kind of reminds me of the Robert Palmer girls in Addicted To Love. Very sophisticated!

  4. Oh dear, I'm a red lipstick addict and I feel this might be my next fix... I own two other Rouge D'Armani so I know the formula is truly amazing. And that color... wow.
