Guest post - Autumn Trend - Orange!

Today we've a guest post from the fabulous Emma Farrell, make up artist and fellow blogger!  Emma has tonnes of experience in all areas of make up from fashion to tv, weddings to music video.  What better person to give us the low down on some key trends to watch out for as we hurtle into autumn.  Take it away Emma!

So the first look that is really big for Autumn/Winter is the colour orange!  Yes, you heard right, it was a colour spotted on loads of Catwalks from Prada to Dries Van Noten.  There were orange eyebrows, eyeshadow and lipstick!  The most shocking example of orange being used was in the Jean Paul Gaultier show, where the model's roots were painted this neon colour.  Could this be the new dip dyeing trend?  It would certainly be great to hide any root growth in between salon visits!

Now, don't despair if layering orange greasepaint over blocked out arches is not for you.  Be inspired by this trend and incorporate the colour in an orangey copper eyeshadow.  Be sure to line the eyes with a strong black liner and black mascara so you don't end up looking washed out.  The colour is absolutely fabulous for anyone with blue eyes and will really make them dazzle!

Thanks so much Emma, we'll be sure to get some orange into our make up looks this season!  Check out Emma's website and blog here.
