Stila is now in Harvey Nichols! Picture heavy post!

It's here.....  Stila is now in it's rightful place in Harvey Nichols Dundrum and I couldn't be happier!  Last year I spoke about my love for a brand I've been collecting from for over 12 years now.... Yes I started when I was 10 *ahem*

Stila's Pro Makeup Artist Martin Carter was on hand to talk us through some of the products and show them in action on their beautiful model.

Not that she needed it but doesn't she look fab?  Before and after
One of the new products is the Stila Stay All Day Foundation & Concealer (€39.50).  I tried this on the back of my hand and it was love at first swatch.  Giving a matte, flawless finish, the back of my hand has never looked better.  There's a spatula to dispense the product out, a flat brush to apply it and a little mirror on the top of the tube which reveals a creamy concealer!  I love it.  Anything that means I've less to carry about is always a good thing.

See the dinky little brush that it comes with?  Ca-ute!

There are 16 shades altogether and here they are all lined up like a little Stila army!

We had a play with some cool products and one that I've never seen before is the Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Snow (€17.50).  This felt tip liner is part of the Autumn 2012 collection and as I've said in the photo below, "it's so cool"!  There's also one in black which is "also cool"!
The next stars of the show were the Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks (€19.90).  These incredibly pigmented lipsticks go on like a gloss but dry to a matte or shimmer finish depending on what shade you choose.  There are 10 shades altogether and I need the red one in my life.

We got to swatch a couple of them and after about 20 minutes, we got some make up remover to take them off.  Let me tell you that I had to go at it big time to get these off the back of my hand!  I have great hopes for them and got one to play with so stay tuned for my review on that.

We got a little preview of what's going to be on my Christmas wish list, I don't know about you.  Do you want a little look?  Yeah, I thought so.  The Stila All is Bright Lip Glaze Set is amazing value.  Seriously.  €24 for 8 glazes....  It'd be a sin not to get this.

If you're looking for a brush set to start off or add to your own collection, this one is €27.50 and comes with a powder brush, domed concealer brush, eyeshadow brush, smudger/liner brush and foundation brush.

The Snow Angel Colour Palette and I had a little moment at the launch.  Not only does it have 12 cheek colours but it also has 18 eyeshadows and a Stay All Day Waterproof Volumising Mascara.  Just look at it, the big dirty snowflake of make up.  Note to self, get this.

I'm all about liners at the moment and the Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner Set (€35) has five full sized liners and is worth €82.  I did a post last year on splitting gift sets up for Christmas and this along with the lip glazes would fit right in with that.  And if you have any left over for yourself, well that's just meant to be!

Last but not least is the Stila Written in the Stars Eyeshadow Palette (€19.50).  If this isn't the perfect Secret Santa present, then I don't know what is.  With twelve shades of neutral shadows, this is going on my list too.  Along with everything else.

All I can say is get your behind down to the new Stila counter in Harvey Nichols.  You won't be sorry and I dare you not to leave without your hand covered in swatches and a little purchase or two for yourself.

    1. You're lucky being so close to it, although if I lived that close to Dundrum, I would be even more stoney broke than I already am ;)
