Lovely Manly Dangly Bits reviews David Beckham - The Essence

We're back with another installment of Lovely Manly Dangly Bits today and our brother Stephen gallantly put aside his Liverpool ties to test out the newest offering from David Beckham - The Essence (RRP €24/30mls, €30/50mls).  Beckham said "Every man has something that makes him happy and for me, it is the smell of The Essence that conveys a sense of adventure and those special moments spent with loved ones".  With top notes of grapefruit, lavender and violet, a heart of cardamom, pineapple and apple, finally finishing with a base of patchouli, cashmere wood and tonka, I couldn't wait to see what the brothership thought of this.

David Beckham - The Essence

As I sit here in Dangly Towers, I smell of balls.  No, not those ones.  Goldenballs.  David Beckham's latest fragrance, The Essence, has been sent across to Lovely Manly Dangly Bits for another short and sweet review.

I've never had a Beckham aftershave before and it's surprisingly decent.  It had to pass two of the most stringent tests which I mark all Day Smellies by:

1. It doesn't offend my work colleagues as that's probably when it's at it's strongest.
2. The missus doesn't choke when I spray it at home. 

What's it called: David Beckham The Essence.
Day or night smelly?  Day.
Type of smell? Clean and fresh.
Lastability (What? It's a word)? Around 3 hours.
Sex Panther Rating? 7/10
