Avon Arctic Goddess palettes - two make up looks!

Last month I gave you a run down of the two palettes from Avon's Arctic Goddess collection and I've been playing with them over the weekend!  I have to say that these are significantly more pigmented than the palettes from the Smoke and Mirrors collection and I'll be keeping these close to me as they're gorgeous!  They're €11 each and are available now in Avon brochures so I thought you might like to see them in action before buying.

Avon Muse Palette from Arctic Goddess Collection €11
First up is the softer, more muted palette, Muse.  You can see swatches here.  I used the lilac shade all over the lids then used the dark purple/blue on the outer corner, took it into the crease and along the upper lashes.  I took the green shade under the lower lashes.  Each of the shades were blendable and of medium pigmentation.  To add a bit more drama, I added black eyeliner on the waterline and voila, an easy, five minute, wearable look!

Now, on to the Arctic Goddess palette itself.  Click here to see swatches but first, just look at that blue shade!  It's gorgeous!  These shades were more pigmented than those from the Muse palette but equally blendable.

I thought I was going to prefer the Muse palette over the Arctic Goddess palette but look at it in action!  IN THE LOVE!  I took the light green shade over the eyelid and applied the dark green shade to the outer corner and along the upper lashes.  I took the blue shade under the lower lashes and then using an angled brush, took the dark green shade again and applied it right under the lower lash line.  A quick slick of liner and that's it!  This look has been added to my repertoire for Christmas parties, love love love it.  The only thing I would change about this palette is that light purple shade.  I don't think it works well in the palette and I think a matte black would be a bit better instead of it, but apart from that, I love it.

A quick side by side view without and with liner.

These two palettes from the Arctic Goddess collection have done Avon proud.  They've something for those who like more natural looks and have it covered for those of us who like to pile on the bright colours!
