The pit of my week and the peak of my week #2

Does anyone else think this week flew?  I felt like each day passed by in a blur and I'm not sure if it's because of the law of physics or because I was trying to get everything organised at work before we head away.

The pit of my week.  Lady pains.  I think we all understand what I'm talking about here.  I won't go into it but suffice to say, ow.

The peak of my week.  This week was a great one altogether.  Thursday was especially brilliant and every time I think of it, I have a little smile to myself.  I got to meet up with some of my bloggy pals at a press launch of a very intriguing product altogether that my mam is not getting her paws on at all at all.  Afterwards, we laughed and joked outside the hotel, so much so that I gave myself a headache that lasted until Friday morning.  Totally worth it though!

I got the Artistic Nail Gloss done again at Shavata's Nail Bar in Harvey Nichols and this time I picked a deep maroony purple that I love and can't stop admiring! Gotta have nice nails for my holidays!

Thursday night saw CherrySue and I head to the Look Good Feel Better event where the actual peak of the week happened.  We got to have The Chats with Jane Cunningham of British Beauty Blogger.  I've been a huge fan of hers for aaaaaages and sometimes I find it quite freaky that she seems to be able to read my mind and more often than not, I catch myself nodding along while reading her posts.  It's her blog I read when wanting to find out what's new in the beauty world and if you're not following her already, what are you doing still reading this post!  It was so nice to sit down over a glass of wine with straws and some lemon... and have a chat about the blogging world and I can safely say that a) I was totally starstruck and b) that was one of the highlights of my year!  Thanks for being so nice Jane!

So how was your week?  Tell moi the pit and the peak of yizzer week!

  3. To be honest, my week was rather uneventful. Spent a lot of time working from home. The highlight was probably date night on Friday, with the boyfriend :-)
