So it's 2013 in case you didn't know and I'm back to share with you my Favourite Five posts of the week from my fellow bloggers!
One of my favourite blogs ever is City of Blackbirds, run by the extremely talented Eadaoin, who I got the chance to meet in real life last year! She has a photography blog and I savour every single post she writes, but her best of 2012 one just stopped me in my tracks. If you want inspiration, go and visit her blog here and you'll see what I mean. Her photos make me feel nostalgic and want to visit the countryside!
At the end of last year, Sarah from Adoreabubbles organised a blogger's meet up for us and we had a great time so thanks Sarah! Emma from Fluff and Fripperies was one of the bloggers on hand who talked to us about their experiences with blogging. Since then, I've found myself trying to remember all the details from her talk, but thankfully, she posted about it the other day, so I can go back and read it whenever I want!
This post from British Beauty Blogger's Jane hit the nail on the head. Multiple nails on multiple heads actually. Jane can articulate thoughts from a blogger's perspective like nobody else I know and I've found myself going back to read this post multiple times over the past week. Bloggers and PRs need to read this post now. Go on. I'll wait here until you're finished..... I love Jane and count myself really lucky to have met her last year over a glass of wine and a straw.
There's nothing I like better than a good sale purchase. The next level down is reading about someone else's sale purchase! Laura from Styled by Laura managed to find something that a) has been on her list for ages, b) manage to refrain from purchasing it before Christmas and c) find it after Christmas in the sales for 50% off. And we all know that when there's only one left in stock, it was meant to be. Click here to see her purchase and see it in action!
So we all know that Christine from Temptalia is amazing and if you don't know who she is, then just know I'm sitting here shaking my head at you... For me, Christine is the go-to blogger for swatches and her reviews are always spot on. And that's not to mention her photos, which I have to look at first before even reading a word. She has a rating system where each product she reviews is given points and then a grade. This week I saw she gave full marks and an A+ to a product, something I don't think I've ever seen! And now I want the product... Click here to see what got top marks!
