New! Vanity Professional Make Up

One of my favourite things about blogging is discovering new brands.  My next favourite thing is discovering that said new brand has some fantastic products.  Enter Vanity Professional Make Up!  Promising high quality products with amazing lasting power, colour me intrigued!  Brought to us from The Beauty Boutique Academy in Rathcoole, this impressive make up range has something for everyone at reasonable prices.

I was sent some products to play with and couldn't wait to get stuck in like the good little beauty junkie I am!  First up is the foundation brush.  I can't remember the last time I used a flat foundation brush as I've been using my Real Techniques buffing brush for ages now.  I found flat foundation brushes left streaks all over my face and moved the product around rather than working it into the skin.  This brush, however, has made me eat my words.  It's fantastic!  I've been using with with a variety of foundations and each time I use it, it leaves my skin looking flawless.  Love. It.  Will update the post with the price asap.

This powder blush (€15) in the shade Fuchsia looked absolutely terrifying in the pan and is by far the most pigmented blush I've ever used!  I needed only the barest touch with my blush brush to give a beautiful glow to the cheek.  Seriously, the swatch on the right is one pass with my finger.  That's how intense the colour is and it's going to last for ages so totally worth the money (that's girlie maths there).

The Kohl Eye Pencil (€10.50) and Eyelights Loose Pigment Pot (€12.50) ends this introduction to Vanity Professional Make Up.  The pencil is creamy, blendable and packs a punch in the pigmentation department. I love using kohl pencils on the waterline and to tightline as it's so much easier than trying to brush a gel liner on, so this is in my make up rotation now.  The loose pigment below is one of those shades that can't be caught on camera.  It has a blue tint to it and would make the most gorgeous inner corner highlight with a smokey eye.

This introduction to Vanity Professional Make Up has gotten me excited and I can't wait to see what else they have!

You can find out more about Vanity make up here on their Facebook page.  The website will be launching towards the end of this month but up until then you can check out the full price list here.  If you're a make up artist, then you can register for a VanityPro card to get savings off any transactions.  And if that isn't enough to entice you, hows about the 3 for 2 offer that's running for January?

Stay tuned for something a little special later on in the week.... I'm saying nothing.

  2. WOW! The blush looks super pigmented indeed. You could probably use it as an eyeshadow too, i think, since it's so pigmented (and pretty!). :D
