Smashbox Brow Tech To Go review, before and after photos

I've already mentioned the Smashbox Brow Tech To Go in a couple of posts already without having blogged about it, bad blogger!  But the wait is over and I'm now going to show you what I've been going on and on about it so buckle up.

I do love a multifunctional product and the Smashbox Brow Tech To Go has both pencil and gel in the one tube.  For someone who carries a lot of products around on a day to day basis, this makes me happy.  It comes in two shades, Taupe and Brunette and Taupe is the perfect match for moi.

One end has a waterproof pencil which is not unlike the Brow Sculptor from Tom Ford, but significantly cheaper.  The angled pencil means you can be precise or give your brows a light wash of colour for a really natural look.  The gel on the other end of the tube keeps your brows in place without going hard.  Nobody likes crispy eyebrows.

You're here to see it in action though aren't you?  If you have nice full brows and want to make them look more polished and precise, then this is what you can achieve.  You can see that my brow looks tidy, defined but still natural looking.

For my other brow, I decided to do something slightly different and use the pencil on the wider side to give a slightly broader brow, which again is natural but gives a fuller brow.

Most of the time when I use this, I start with the gel end and scrape most of the product back into the tube and use it to groom the hairs into place.  Then I get busy with the pencil end and the whole process takes about two minutes at the most.  The pencil isn't hard so you won't scrape the brows off yourself but the thing I love the most is that it doesn't look like you've penciled them in.  It looks like I've dyed my brows my own colour.

And behold my before and after eyebrows that look different on purpose!  On the left is the more natural, fuller brow and on the right is the polished, more defined one.

This will set you back €23 and is €23 well spent in my opinion.  The fact that it was in my 2012 favourites speaks volumes, especially since I only got it from the brand in December.

Holy Grail product.  You beauty junkies out there know that this is huge.  Those of you that just googled this and found yourself here and are wondering what I'm going on about with my Holy Grail, just know that it means the product is amazing and nowt will top it for me!
