The Tarte blushes are infused with Amazonian clay harvested from the banks of the Amazon river and baked by the sun. This clay minimizes the oil in and around the pores and helps hydrate the skin.
My immediate favourite was the shade Tipsy. As you know, I do love a coraly peachy blush and this one is stunning!
It's more pinky than Nars Torrid but is equally as shimmery. It's bright, pigmented and is more cool toned than Torrid and is different enough to make it ok than I have the two of them in my collection!
I've been wearing this all week and it gives me a gorgeous glow to my cheeks. I have no doubt that it's going to look even better in the summer months when we hopefully have a bit of sun. As I said above, Tipsy is really pigmented and a little goes a long way. I haven't tested out the 12 hour claim but it does last a full work day before it starts to fade. It blends into my skin beautifully in such a way that it looks like my actual skin.
Now for the bad news. We can't get Tarte here in Ireland. I know. Why did I show this to you then? If you know anyone who is going over to America, cash in whatever favours you have with them and get them to pick some up for you! You won't regret it and I've three more blushes to show you over the coming weeks.
Have you tried any Tarte blushes? And more importantly, do you know how we can get our hands on the brand here in Ireland?!
