The pit of my week and peak of my week - week 2!

Another week's over and it flew by didn't it?  We're still nowhere near the end of January so roll on payday as I'm sure we'll all broke and counting the pennies!

So without further ado, here be the pit and the peak of my week!

The Pit of my Week was weather related again.  The days have gotten chillier and nights are bloody freezing but thankfully I have thick fluffy socks that are keeping me warm in bed.  I was good all week and got up only ten minutes after my alarm went off, rather than the usual half an hour of snoozing.  This meant I was able to make an effort with my makeup instead of slapping on the minimum whilst legging it out the door.  Despite all of this effort and organisation, the stupid ice on my car made me late.  I have a can of de-icer and one of those squirty bottles of it too and both are rubbish!  They only took the top layer of ice off the window so I still had to sit in the car with the window heater yokey on full blast, waiting for the ice to melt and the inside of the window to demist.  Not fun.  Roll on warmer days!

The Peak Of My Week was getting invites to some cool events and launches over the next couple of weeks.    One is particularly exciting and required me trying to find something purty to wear, so I found myself in TK Maxx on Friday night having a look at the gunas.  I found a beautiful black lacy number that is gorgeous on, makes me feel lovely and girlie and now I need shoes to match it, so that's what I'm doing today!  I find it hard to find dresses that I'm really comfy in but this one is fab, so it made my week!

What was the pit and the peak of your week?

  1. Ah, so glad you found a dress you love. It's great when an item of clothing makes you feel fab! :)

Good luck with the shoe hunting! Hope you're having a lovely weekend!
