I had a pretty uneventful week and it flew by. Up until last night, I didn't have a Pit Of My Week. Then disaster struck. As much as a disaster can be when it comes to nail polish. So after weeks and weeks of going nail polish free, I decided to paint my poor nails in preparation for the peak of my week. If I'm doing my nails before heading out on a big night, I do it before my shower so that any messes on my cuticles or fingers wash away. Except the nail polish on my pinky got washed away too.
So while doing my make up, I reapplied the nail polish and headed into town. I sat down with CherrySue and had a glance down at my hands only to see this.
On to The Peak of My Week! I was invited to go to the Vichy Awards last night in the Westin Hotel along with CherrySue and Emma from Fluff and Fripperies. Pardon the filter on the photo below, we were all bright pink from the light on the stage!
It was a fantastic event where 100 Vichy Dermo Advisors from across the country were recognised for their hard work and dedication over the past year. Laura Bermingham was on hand to speak and hand out the awards and was looking gorgeous!
It was amazing to hear some stories of how the Vichy advisors went above and beyond their job to raise brand awareness and there was such a sense of community and excitement the whole night. Now I want to be a Vichy Advisor! There were lots of laughs, delicious food and much posing *ahem*
It was a brilliant end to a meh week and was completely worth getting squashed into a pair of shapewear and not being able to breathe properly!
So what was the pit of your week and the peak of your week?
