Greenberry is one of those polishes that is so hard to photograph properly but in saying that, it looks different in various light. It wavers from a lighter emerald green to an aqua blue and as I'm sitting here in artificial light, it looks turquoise. I love it and have nothing like it in my collection (like that would have stopped me from buying it).
It makes a nice change from the usual pale pastels that are traditionally on my nails during Spring and I will go back to them no doubt, but I wanted something that would perk me up and Greenberry does just that.
As it's one of the gelly polishes, it has a thicker consistency than the regular Barry M polishes and some streaking can occur. But if you do lighter coats than you normally might, you should be fine and dandy. These photos show three coats which is what I'd normally do anyways.
So will you be trying Greenberry? It could be a St Patrick's Day manicure with a twist! It's totally worth the €5.99 price tag and will take me from spring to summer easily.
I love this!! Want/ Need it :)

ReplyDeleteI love this, was looking at the Gelly polishes today but apart from the ones I already have there doesn't seem to be any nice shades!
ReplyDeleteI like the Gelly polishes on blogs but I never seem to like them in the shop! I wanted this one, saying that I have about 40 greens.... but not this one. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteSNAP! I got this one too. Randomly enough I got mine in River Island in Galway. I was in boots looking for Essie 'first timer' it's a greeny one too but they didn't have so I went to River I and couldn't resit picking this Gelly one up for 5 euro. Deffo getting the purple one and blueberry next :)
