I really do love a good eyeliner that's not black and have raved about Avon's Blackberry and YSL's Azure Blue in the past. Well, I'm back with a rave about a liner you can find in your local chemist in the form of Bourjois Contour Clubbing Waterproof eyeliner in the shade 47. I fell in love with the packaging before even seeing what was inside. Purple with electric greeny-blue lettering? Yes please.
Part of the Aristoclash collection that has a lilac shadow alongside a grey and dark purple polish, a pink and nude lipstick, this liner is definitely the clash in Aristoclash. The rest of the collection is decidedly more ladylike! This eyeliner deserved it's own post purely because it made me say this when I removed the lid and looked at the nib:
It was love at first swatch. I am a big old fan of purple eye make up and this purple liner is shot through with fine electric blue and purple shimmer and is just stunning! Shades like this were made for me and it makes my eyes look even more green but I imagine it'll look just as pretty on brown or blue eyes. It's smooth, creamy and doesn't tug on the delicate skin on the eye. I did this little winged out look in a few seconds.
Another way I like to wear coloured liner is along the waterline and smudged under the lower lashes for a bit of interest like this.
I usually pair lower lash colour with a neutral eye but wanted to try something a little more dramatic so used Bourjois' liquid liner that will deserve it's own post because look at the perfect flick I was able to do all by myself!
This liner is totally worth the €6.59 price tag and if I'd have seen it in my chemist, I'd have snapped it up in a second. Fortunately for me, the brand gave me this last week along with some other goodies that I'll be showing you over the coming weeks.
The AristoClash collection is out in Boots, Superdrug and selected pharmacies and I urge you to go check this liner out along with the rest of the collection!
