Face Facts in the Arnotts Beauty Hall!

Beauty lovers, mark your calendars as some of the world's top make up artists and beauty experts are coming to the Arnotts Beauty Hall to give us advice and pass us on their pearls of wisdom!  I absolutely love events like these because a) beauty halls are my favourite place in the world and in my mind, I glide from counter to counter like a chic sophisicated lady when in actual fact, I'm running from counter to counter like Phoebe Buffay, covering the back of my hands in make up like I'm a colouring book.  The second reason I love events like this is that there's a great buzz in the beauty hall and you can really learn some tips and techniques that will make make your life a bit easier in the old make up department.

Starting on February 21st, Celia Cashman from Elizabeth Arden will be on hand to help you get your base and foundation correct.  This is crucial for those that think the tide mark along the jaw line is Spring/Summer 2013.  It is not.

Also on the 21st, Emma Healy will be on the Shiseido counter with the MMS machine which will show you how to brighten and revitalise your skin.  After the winter, our skin can be a bit dull and we need a bit of help to get a bit of radiance going.

On the 27th of February from 10am to 2pm, George Pelosi, Bobbi Brown's global make up artist will be offering complimentary lessons on how to achieve perfect skin.  If I worked in town, I'd be there like a light because if you have perfect looking skin, then it's all plain sailing after that.

Also on the 27th and the 28th of February, my pal Donna Galloway from the Origins team will give you all the information you need on Origins products.  I've blogged about them many times before and I'll hopefully be popping in to see her myself as she's lovely, so definitely go in and tell her I sent you!

The 1st and 2nd of March sees Farid Benchabbi, make up artist to stars like Emma Watson, Kate Winslet, Daisy Lowe and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name but a few, on the Lancome counter, so if you want any inside tips, that's definitely the place to be!  If I can look even a tinchy bit like Kate or Rosie, then I'm there!

Each day, Joseph Clouter will be on the Dior counter to give backstage tips on how to achieve flawless looking skin thanks to the Dior nude BB cream.  I've been wanting to try the BB cream from Dior for a while and who better to talk me through it?

I love events like this because you can really get some great tips and tricks from those in the know.  Over the past couple of years, I've had the good fortune to meet some fantastic make up artists and really have learned pearls of wisdom that I use every single day.  So you've no excuse!  Go in and see what you can learn and you'll probably see me in there taking notes as I need all the help I can get!

  1. I still can't get over Avery Fisher! That place was like seeing a barn. Actually, a barn might sound better! This place is at least thousand times better!
