MUA Undress Me Too palette, photos, swatches

I'm a big fan of budget brands and MUA is as budget friendly as you can get in this here recession.  Until recently, you could only get MUA products if you were heading north of the border or if a nice friend would pick some up for you on their travels.

They've since set up a website where Irish cailins can buy products or if you're close to a Superdrug, they've now a proper stand and all where we can swatch to our heart's content.  And that's exactly what I did last weekend in Santry.

I was very restrained and picked up just one thing, this pretty neutral palette, Undress Me Too.

I'd not read any reviews on this palette but thought it looked familiar.  My research this week tells me that it's a dupe for the Naked 2 palette and since I don't own that one, I was excited to get swatching.

Undress Me Too contains 12 eyeshadows, both shimmery and matte.  I'm a big fan of the MUA single eyeshadows so wondered how these would compare.

The shimmery eyeshadows were just as buttery and pigmented as I'd hoped they'd be.  As for the mattes, with the exception of Lavish and Corrupt at the bottom, they were surprisingly good.  I felt Corrupt was so hard that I wondered if it was plastic and I really had to work at it to get any semblance of product on my arm.  Lavish barely showed up on my arm at all and I was raging because I love matte shades like that.  Undress Me Too has a few warm toned neutrals but it's mostly a cool toned palette.

Time for swatches?

Top row L-R: Naked, Devotion, Shy
Bottom row L-R: Tranquil, Exposed, Reveal

Top row L-R: Fiery, Lavish, Dreamy
Bottom row L-R: Wink, Obsessed, Corrupt

I'll be getting great use out of this palette and because it's much smaller than the Naked palettes, it's going to be perfect for travelling.

I don't have my receipt but I think think this was a budget friendly €4.59.  You can't go wrong with that.  While it isn't a total dupe for the Naked 2 palette, it comes pretty close and I have to say that MUA have brought out a fantastic addition to their palette family.  It's definitely worth checking out.

You can buy MUA make up online or in your local Superdrug.

  1. I love MUA, I have their Undress Me pallet and I do really like it, but as I also own all the Naked pallets I don't thinlk I'll be picking this one up as well.

  2. I have MUA "Heaven and Earth" pallet. I wasn't upset when I've received it - really nice and quite high quality shades, however packaging is not the nicest and pigmentation of the shadows.. huh.. Honestly - I'd rather prefer Sleek pallets than MUA :) You can get same shades but quality of Sleek is way much better IMHO.
