Kiss Me, I'm Irish: 3 Coral Lip Options! Guest post from Makeup Over Mind's Orla

When I'm on holidays, I like to take it easy and give myself a rest from blogging.  But I can't leave the wee blog unattended for the week, so I'm leaving it in some very capable hands!  I'm a huuuuge fan of Orla from Makeup Over Mind and now you will be too if you're not following her already and all of her links are at the bottom of the post.  She's gorgeous, a brilliant blogger and has true passion for all things beauty related.  I hold her personally responsible for making me want Dior Amber Diamond and Nars Sheer Glow even though it made me break out.  Over to you Orla!
Kiss Me, I'm Irish: 3 Coral Lip Options!
When Karen asked me if I'd be interested in writing a guest post for the wunderbar blog you're currently reading I was completely chuffed to say the least. The week that's in it, in honour of St.Patrick, the flag, shamrocks, and really all things Irish, I thought it might be fun to write about a trifecta of products! More specifically, my top 3 coral picks for Spring! Ranging from low- to high-end and varying intensity, coral is always fun for Spring; and a great excuse for exclaiming "Kiss me, I'm Irish"!
Swatches (L-R): Rimmel Kate Moss 110, MAC Vegas Volt, elf Mellow Melon
1)    e.l.f. Conditiong Lip Balm SPF15 in Mellow Melon
First up, this beautiful shade from e.l.f. is a great alternative for anyone keen to try the coral trend, but a little frightened of very loud corals. This balm is really comfortable on the lips and applies quite sheer. All in all, it gives a beautiful finish, is great for everyday, and purse friendly to boot!
Available: eyeslipsface.com (3.75GBP)
2)    MAC Amplified Lipstick in Vegas Volt
Kicking it up a notch, we have MAC's Vegas Volt, a colour which is much scarier in the tube than on the lips! As one of MAC's amplified formulas, this lipstick is not only super pigmented but also really comfortable on the lips and probably my favourite of the three!
Available: at MAC counters (€18.00)
3)    Rimmel for Kate Moss Matte Lipstick #110
And lastly, we have Kate Moss (#110), a fantastically bright coral red! This is a serious statement colour, that's not for the feint hearted! But, if like me you are a fan of bold, orange-toned reds (a bit like MAC's Lady Danger) then this budget alternative might be right up your alley!
Available: at Rimmel stands (€6.95)
So, those are my 3 coral inspired picks for Spring! With a range of intensities, finishes, and prices, I like to think there's something for everyone. Which one would you rock to increase your Irish kissability? ;)
