As I mosey my way through The Year Of The Hair, I've come across some fantastic new shampoos and conditioners. That being said, I've been trying not to wash my hair every single day in an attempt to be kind to it. But with that comes a problemo. I have greasy roots and can rarely go the second day without a dry shampoo of some kind to tide me over.
I was sent this dry shampoo a few of weeks ago from L'Oreal, or as it's called, Fresh Dust, which brings out the Marjorie Dawes in me. Dust? Anybody? No? Dust?
Most of you will have tried Batiste in the past and it has saved my greasy head on more than one occasion. The only thing I didn't like about Batiste was no matter how much I tried to work the product into my hair and comb it through, it still left a slight dusty residue on my hair and made it look a bit dull.
With this Fresh Dust, on first application, it leaves a slight powdery residue on my hair but less so than Batiste. Then as I start to work it into my hair, it disappears and by the time I'm brushing my hair and putting it up, it looks glossy and actually clean. I've never had this with a dry shampoo before! It's lightweight and doesn't feel like I've anything in my hair at all and I like to pretend I've brushed all the grease out of my hair after using this!
So I'll happily shell out the €11.85 for my Fresh Dust from now on! Have you tried this yet?
