YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Shade 12 Corail Incandescent - Review, photos, swatches

A couple of weeks ago I showed you two of the gorgeous Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks from YSL that I bought in Newry and they have barely been off my lips since picking them up.  For work, I like the more muted shades that I can apply at my desk without a mirror but as soon as I leave the office, I like to add more colour!

YSL sent me shade 12, Corail Incandescent and we are now best friends who go everywhere together.

Shades like these make me happy and make me yearn for summer and sunny days.  This pinky coral lipstick calls for cocktails (with an umbrella of course), floaty tops and beachy hair.  Until summer decides to show up, it'll have to make do with blazers, jeans and straight hair but will still look just as gorgeous on.

Corail Incandescent is much more opaque than the other two shades I have but is still just as creamy and moisturising on the lips thanks to the hyaluronic acid microspheres that keep your lips hydrated.  These are one of the most comfortable products I've ever worn and are everything I look for in a lip product.  I'm a big fan of lipsticks that leave slightly glossy finishes and you'll see below that this guy delivers in that department.

I look at these photos and just sigh with happiness.

This lipstick lasts about two to three hours before needing to be topped up.  I think I'll be continuing my love affair with these Rouge Volupte Shines over the coming months and will enjoy adding new shades to my little  family.

They're on YSL counters now for €31.50 and if you're looking for a bit of luxury when it comes to your lipsticks, you can't go wrong with these!

Have you tried any yet?
