i've been wanting to try one of the Pot Rouges for ages and even though I nearly call this my Pot Noodle every time, I decided enough was enough. I needed to try one of Bobbi Brown's offerings as she does the natural beauty look like nobody else. And you know me and my corals. Even if it has coral in the name, I'm all over it. So Calypso Coral became mine for the princely duty free price of €22.50.
It spent a lot of time lounging around the pool in Spain...
Calypso Coral is pig.men.ted. Seriously, a little goes a long way with this chap, so apply a little, blend, blend some more and then apply more if needed. I like to use my Real Techniques Stippling Brush to apply this and find that it blends the product much better than my fingers. I find it too drying for my lips so am keeping it purely for my face where it's dewy, fabulous, blush perfection.
Time to see it in action I think. I get about 6 hours of wear out of it and if you were looking to get even longer out of it, then I'd set it with a powder blush, but with a gentle touch, otherwise everyone will call you Aunt Sally.
Oh Calypso Coral. I love how you make me look like I've just come in from a walk on the beach. I believe we are going to have lots of happy times over the coming months.
Have you tried any of the Pot Rouges from Bobbi Brown? What shade do I need to try next and bear in mind, if it's coral or peach, I'm there!
That blush is absolutely beautiful! And I love how it perfectly matches your nail colour. :D Just to be nosy, what nail polish is that? ;)
