Free Vichy gift with purchase! It would be a sin not to....

What's better than going shopping for skincare?  Getting a nifty gift with purchase that's what.  Enter Vichy.

For the month of April, if you buy two products, one to be a moisturiser, you get this gorgeously velvety beautiful gift pouch and four travel sized favourites to try out.  And it's coming up to holiday time.  Where you travel.  So you actually need these travel sized products now that you think of it.  Those alone are worth the purchase.

I've tried lots of Vichy products over the years and have lots of new products to try at home.  But if I was going shopping for two products, what would I choose?  Hmm... This is where you'd find me standing at the counter looking at all the things and not being able to choose and finally asking one of the Vichy advisors for help.  (Don't ya know my local chemist has one of the Vichy advisor winners from last year.)

Now, one product has to be a moisturiser and I was going to recommend the Idealia Smoothing and Illuminating Cream but that's one of the free gifts you get.  But I love it so much that I'd probably buy a full size and keep the travel size for my bag or to bring away with me.  You could give it away too, but that's crazy talk, so forget I said that.  Vichy have a huge range of moisturisers, so I'd recommend going and having a chat with one of the skin advisors who will give you a skin consultation and help you choose a moisturiser that'll work perfectly for your skin.

Here comes the hard part.  You have the whooooole rest of the Vichy collection to choose from.  What do you get?  My first instinct was to recommend one of the best products ever, Vichy Capital Soleil Anti-Shine Dry Touch Emulsion which is the perfect facial sunscreen for those with oily combination skin.

Without reviewing it all over again, in a nutshell, we're talking about a mattifying sunscreen you can put on your face, that dries instantly and you apply your foundation right away.  No greasy feeling and for me, this is a must have product for the (hopefully) sunnier days that await us.

Or how about the Normaderm 3 in 1 cleanser, scrub and mask.

I'm on my second tube of this now and will continue to repurchase it.  I do love a multifunctional product as my bathroom is absolutely full of half used bottles and this saves space along with being a plain brilliant product.  Read my review here if you should be so inclined.

Don't forget Vichy do haircare too.

I raved about the Dercos Nourishing Reparative shampoo and conditioner recently and still torment anyone who will listen to me about them.  These guys achieved Holy Grail Status and now that I mention it, so did the Dry Touch Emulsion.  This is huge in the life of a beauty blogger.  Holy Grail people!

I could be here all day telling you what else you could try, but what you need to do is get your behind into your local chemist and just look at, touch, smell all the products and then let me know what you end up getting as I think it's only fair that if I'm here enabling you, you should return the favour and give me ideas for what I need to try next.  Deal?

  1. I'm using and loving their Normaderm Hyaluspot at the minute. It doesn't completely clear breakouts in 48 hours but it DOES reduce them significantly and take that pressure pain away. It's a keeper.

  2. I love Vichy. I´ve been using Thermalia riche cream and thermale water and my skin looks perfect :DD

  3. I visited multiple blogs but the audio quality for audio songs existing at this website is
    really fabulous.

  4. Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any
trouble with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I
ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no backup.
Do you have any methods to prevent hackers?
