Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms

I don't know how I'd cope in life without lip balm.  Each handbag I lug around is laden with various balms of all shapes and sizes and it may sound sad, but lip balms make me happy.  They big fat do.  I've an awful habit of picking at dead skin on my lips so am constantly applying lip balm to stop the habit whilst keeping my lips moisturised.

Now, tinted lip balms are a whole other level of love in my book.  A bit of colour while hydrating my lips?  Yep yep yep!

These two tinted lip balms from Burt's Bees arrived at Girlie Towers last week and have made themselves very comfortable in my stash so they have.  There are four new shades in the collection which join five other shades, all with floral inspired names.  I've got Petunia and Sweet Violet to show you today.

With natural ingredients like bees wax, shea butter, coconut and olive fruit oil, these work together to nourish the lips and they've a light, fruity scent that isn't too sweet.

They feel lightweight on the lips and have lots of slip in them.  They leave a slight glossy finish to my lips when I'm wearing them with a hint of colour and products like these are so handy for when you're on the go and need a bit of colour while you take care of your lips.  I like that I can feel them working on my lips, rather than just sitting on them and they're definitely doing a stellar job of conditioning my lips.

Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balms are available from The Health Store, Nourish, Avoca and selected pharmacies nationwide.  They retail at €7.95 and are now in heavy rotation in my lip balm stash!

Are you a lip balm fiend?  What's your favourite one?

  3. I used to have a tinted one and it was lovely! However I lost it so now I have about five or six of their normal ones on the go :) The peppermint one is my fave! They do keep your lips soft and smell so good I want to eat them!! I don't of course ;)
