Origins No Puffery - now in cooling roll-on!

Origins No Puffery Cooling Roll-on, you have saved my face.

It's well and truly summer here in Ireland.  We're having a heatwave like nowt else and are enjoying every bit of blue sky and sunshine.  A heatwave means one thing though.  Lack of sleep because at night, your house turns into an actual oven and no matter how many windows and doors you leave open, you can't get cool enough to sleep properly.  And I am one of those weirdos that is sweating every night, can't sleep with a cover on, but can't sleep without the feeling of a cover on.  Le sigh....

So lack of sleep night after night, makes for tired, puffy eyes that has your colleague coming in to see if you're coming on break, only to stop in her tracks as you look up at her with your wild eyes.  She knows no amount of coffee is going to work on them.

With Hoelen Mushroom Extract to help minimise redness, yeast extract to de-puff and aloe vera and cucumber extract to hydrate, soften and nourish the delicate skin around your eyes, No Puffery has been a joy to use.  I've used the non rollerball version of it years ago and it was ok, but the metal rollerball just takes it up a notch and then some.  It's cooling on the eyes and massages the product gently into the skin.

I got this to play with last week in London and I haven't stopped using it. The light, gel texure soothes my eyes beautifully in this heat and I haven't even had the chance to put it in the fridge for extra cooling-ness!  It goes on at night before bed, under my night cream and then in the morning, it gets lashed on to help cool my puffy eyes down, and it does.

It'll be available on Origins counters this month and online and will retail at €32/£24.  I know.  The original version is €30 which is still not great on the conversion rate end of things.  We're told that the price of €32 is to reflect the additional benefits of the product and the new packaging.  I'd happily go in to Origins in Arnotts and pay €32 for this because it's brilliant, but knowing the conversion rate takes away from it a bit.

If you need something to help cool and soothe your puffy eyes, then give this a go lads.  It's great and now you'll never know that I've been up all night, tossing and turning in this heat! (Not that I'm complaining about it.  Frizzy hair is very in right now yeah?)

I'm off to stick it in the fridge now!
