The Body Shop Camomile range review

As you know, I'm mad into my skincare these days and am loving testing out new products that work and that I can share with you.  If they're budget friendly, that makes me even happier.  I was given some products from The Body Shop recently and have been putting them through their paces over the last few weeks.

The Camomile range is gentle but effective and each product has Community Fair Trade Camomile which smells so delicate and soothes the skin while removing all of your makeup.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter

The Sumptuous Cleansing Butter makes me want to cleanse my face.  I look forward to using it and it has everything I look for in terms of a cleanser.  It smells gorgeous, gets rid of my make up, doesn't dry out my skin and works.  It's solid in the tin, but when you start playing with it, that's when it gets interesting.  As I massage it into my face, it melts, becoming an oil and starts to break down my make up, mascara included.  You can either rinse it off with water, or I like to use a muslin cloth to lightly exfoliate the skin whilst making sure the product is all removed.  A little goes a long way with this and it's one I'll be purchasing myself.  At €14.95, it won't break the bank and is a joy to use!

Camomile Gentle Eye Make Up Remover & Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

Now, you know I've had my issues when it comes to eye make up removers.  So when I realised I'd two to try out, my eyeballs got scared.  Would I have perpetual pinkeye?  Would I have to explain to people that I hadn't been crying, just trying to be good and taking my make up off before bed?

I should have listened to Frankie and relaxed.  I've had the Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover (€12.50) used on me before when I was getting a facial in the body shop before and as it's name says, it's gentle. But it works.  With Community Fair Trade Camomile Oil from over 100 camomile flowers, this delicately scented remover effortlessly removes my eye make up without having to scrub or rub at my eyes.

Now that it's summer and holidays are happening, lots more of us are wearing waterproof makeup, from shadows to mascara and eyebrows to lipsticks.  The Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make-Up Remover (€13.50) is a bi-phase solution that once shaken to make one super-solution, tackles any makeup that you've previously wanted to stay put.  It's enriched with Community Fair Trade essential camomile oil that's gentle on the delicate eye area and again, this doesn't irritate my eyes at all.  I've been wearing waterproof mascara for weeks now and this does a fantastic job of getting rid of it quickly and easily.

As I'm enjoying using these products so much, I'll be treating myself to the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (€17.30) to complete the Camomile range!  You know me and my cleansing oils!

The range will be in shops this month and if you're looking for great quality skincare that won't have you broke, then definitely check these out!

  2. I'm 2/3 of the way through the old chamomile liquid remover. Ive found my replacement now to decide between the balm and the dual phase remover.
The dasies are a lovely touch.
