My Favourite Five posts of the week from my fellow bloggers - week 32!

What's up bishes?  Isn't it only that time of the week again where I share with you the posts that made me lust over products and essentially made me want to spend my non existent money!

First up is Temptalia's review of the gorgeous She Wolf Ombre Eye Colour trio from Tom Ford.  I really do think I need this in my life and on my eyes.... And the shades are wearable.  And it's gorgeous....

Then I big fat went and read Kirstie's review of the same palette and she pretty much sealed the deal in what I like to call Girlie Maths.  The palette is €56, so not exactly budget friendly, but, if you break it down per eyeshadow as Kirstie did, it's only €18 per eyeshadow which isn't too bad.  Ahem.  And she used it before photographing it... If you're a blogger, you will understand the sheer magnitude and significance of this.  Le sigh.  I love it.

This week I discovered that Pamela Flood finally started a beauty blog!  I met her a couple of months ago at an event but having lived in Canada for years and not being a big watcher of Irish tv, didn't recognise her... I'm crap at life.  It was only a couple of weeks later when I saw her photo in a magazine that I thought "Oh I met her, she was lovely" and then copped who she was!  Anyway, she made me want to buy this Ren BB cream, so it's been added to my every growing list!

I'm currently undertaking a big redecoration of the spare room which used to be Joanne's and it's taking up any spare time I have!  As we speak, I've just one coat left to paint of the gorgeous wall colour I picked and I'm already thinking of the finishing touches as it's probably where Joanne and I will film our videos because it's bigger than the beauty room.  Anyway, when I saw this post on Styled by Laura, I was completely inspired and now want to hunt for trays to put things in and mirrors to mount on the walls and I can't wait to finish decorating the room!  I just need to win the lotto!

Speaking of redecorating and DIY, sweet baby J, I want Aisling from Total MakeUp Addict to come to my house and make me one of these storage units for my nail polishes!  Girlfriend is kicking ass on her blog and I've gone back to read this post over and over again all week.  I'm totally inspired to try doing something like this, but might need a little rest first!

  1. Re: Mirrors. I live in a decaying georgian terrace with virtually NO natural light, so I'm the queen of mirrors for a somewhat unusual reason! I get a 50/50 mix of old mirrors from 2nd hand/antique shops (they're better value than you'd think, little country antique shops)and Ikea. Ikea do gorgeous mirrors at half the price of anywhere else. May help with the auld budget black-hole ;)

  4. Oh I really like Pamela Flood, will definitely be following her blog, thanks for the tip! I'm an ex-smoker so I think of all the big pricey things in terms of cigarettes. Tom Ford palette - 5 packs of cigarettes. Justified. OR, a fiver a week into a jar for 11 weeks. In the paw before Christmas, nice ;-)
