Origins GinZing Energy-boosting moisturiser review

I'm hurtling through my pot of GinZing Energy-boosting moisturiser from Origins at a fierce rate and that's because I absolutely love it and when I love something, I never ever forget to use it.  I actually look forward to using this orange pot of happiness every morning!

We've all heard about the VitaZing eye cream and I haven't tried that yet, but it's on my list now after playing with the moisturiser for a few weeks now.  The lightweight gel formula contains Panax Ginseng and caffeine which helps optimise cellular energy and conditions skin.

The citrusy scent featuring grapefruit and lemon oil not only gives you a pep in your step at the start of the day, but grapefruit oil has clinically proven anti-irritancy benefits and lemon oil increases concentration.  If it's going to help me focus, then sign me up!  The formula is gel based and works quickly into the skin, leaving it looking bright and radiant and feeling hydrated.

As I'm in a constant rush in the morning, a lighter moisturiser that still packs a punch in terms of skin benefits is exactly what I need.  This one absorbs into my skin quickly meaning I don't have to wait too long before I can start applying my make up.  Time is money that that hour of the morning!

If you're looking for a moisturiser that gives your skin a little extra somethin' somethin' then head to your Origins counter and have a whiff of the GinZing Energy-boosting moisturiser and tell me you don't love the scent!  I think I'll need something a bit heavier in the winter months, but I can tell this is going to be a go-to moisturiser for the rest of the year.  It'll set you back €28 for a 50ml jar and I'd happily purchase this myself.

What do I need to try next from Origins?  Go on and enable me!

  1. I love this cream, wish it had an SPF version though as I don't like having to wear 2 creams in the morning! You should try the eye cream, it's amazing. Excellent post, love your blog.

  2. Try the Plantscriptions Facial Wash Karen. It's lovely and foamy and leaves your skin really clean! Also their masks are seventy shades of brilliant! I love the charcoal mask and the out of trouble mask for times when the visage is gone a bit doolally! Otherwise the drink up mask is fab for skin that's dehydrated!

    I am an Origin-a-holic!

  3. Love this post, really helpful as I’ve not tried this products. I’ll definitely be adding it to my shopping list! I’ve just done a review on Origins Checks and Balances Face Wash and United State Toner if you’d like to check it out – http://bit.ly/1viaV5X
