Pit and peak of the week - week 30!

Oh hai everyone!  It's August and a long weekend, so we are in great spirits here at Lovely Girlie Bits! We've been thinking recently that we might set up a second YouTube channel for more random videos like vlogs, baking, DIY and keep our first channel purely beauty related.  Would you guys be interested in seeing more random videos from us?

Let's get on to the pit of the week.  This week saw the fourth anniversary of our dad's passing and it's never an easy time as we remember what we all went through in the weeks leading up to his death.  It's a time where we batten down the hatches, remember all the good times we had with him and keep on keepin' on.  Family time is what's needed and we had lots of that this week.

The peak of the week is something I've wanted to mention for a couple of weeks now.  We've been really lucky in our YouTube journey so far and we're not even three months into it.  We've now over 450 subscribers and have had some really lovely comments left on our videos.

Seeing nice comments like these makes our day and makes us want to create more videos and blog posts, so thanks to everyone who takes the time to leave a comment.  It makes our week!

How was your week?  What was the pit and the peak?
