Smashbox Black Gold Waterproof Eyeshadow and Liner - make up look!

I've been waffling on and on about the Fade to Black collection from Smashbox for weeks now.  As you know, I fell in instant and ultimate love with Black Gold, one of the Waterproof Shadow Liners and you need it.  The End.  If only my posts could be that short.  I'd fly through them!  But no, I need to show this to you in detail.  Along with Black Gold is Blackest Black and each will launch at the end of August for €19.00 each.

I've spoken to you about these waterproof shadow liners before and they do not budge a bit once they set.  So perfect for this monsoon weather we've been having!  But Black Gold.  Love of my life.  Let's have a look at it in action shall we?

Make up looks like the one below is one of my trusty go to looks when I'm heading out at night and want to make a bit of impact, but with minimal time, effort and number of products.  This black-y gold-y shade has olive undertones to it and really will suit all eye colours.  You can use it as a liner, slicked on the upper or lower lashlines, or all over the lid.  You know me.  I love my make up.  It was the lid for me.

I start by applying a messy layer of Black Gold to my eyelid and blend with my finger to soften the edges.  I take it under my lower lashes and smudge it with the sponge at the end of the pencil.  I take a black liner and run it along the waterline and upper waterline too.

A look wouldn't be a look without mascara, so a grand coat of my Eye Brightening Mascara from Smashbox is all I need and I'm on my merry way!

I predict Black Gold is going to sell out fast and it's limited edition, so if you want to get your paws on it and get it on your eyes, then head to your local Smashbox counter on August 21st!
