I'll be showing you the autumn collection from Clarins very soon but had to show you the sneakiest of peeks of the Clarins palette that will be out in October in time for Christmas. The handsome and Frenchiest of Frenchmen Claude showed it to us last week and displayed it like it was his first child in that opening scene from The Lion King.
The 10 shade palette has my name written all over it and it's going to sell out fast, I can guarantee it.
The box is reusable, has a decently sized mirror but unfortunately doesn't come with a full sized Claude.
There's a great mix of shimmers and mattes and I managed to swatch a few below. The ones I tried were creamy and pigmented and I literally can't wait until this launches!
I'm looking forward to comparing it to the Naked palette but I think this is going to be a more grown up version of that. Oh no. Does that mean I'm old because I love it?!
A pity Claude is not included! x
ReplyDeleteI know, I'll have to have a word with them!
DeleteMmm nom it looks delicious:-D It does look sophisticated and grown up but in a cool "I have great taste and and am ageless" kind of way:-D...if that even makes sense ha ha?!:-P Was the box that housed it made of cardboard or some sort of plastic? Xoxo;-)
ReplyDeleteThat makes total sense! The box is made of cardboard with a shiny finish to it, very pretty!
DeleteObviously UD don't own neutral palettes just because of the success of the Naked ones, but this looks so similar! Having said that, I spot some interesting shades there that I wouldn't mind getting my hands on. It kind of looks more put together or well-thought-through than the Naked ones, from the picture - like it has a bit of everything! Definitely won't be able to resist it, anyway!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to compare the two and see the difference!
DeleteLove the look of the palette, but I have UD Naked one. Bit too similar maybe?!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks similar but I'll need to have a proper play when it's out and swatch the living daylights out of it! Will keep you posted x
DeleteIt looks so similar to UD Naked Palette. I am so curious on the comparison swatches in the future :)
ReplyDeleteStay tuned! I can't wait to play with it :)
