La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Barrier Repairing Balm – Oh happy days!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know I’m a massive fan of Cicaplast Baume B5 from La Roche Posay.  I get really dry lips and have been using it every night before bed, waking up to smooth, soft lips.  But during the day, my lips dry out again and I can’t really go around with white cream smeared all over them.  So I hoped they’d bring out something that would work for me during the day and look what they did! They’ve brought out Cicaplast Barrier Repairing Balm and I believe they heard my call!  This thick balm has 10% shea butter to moisturise the lips and create a barrier so the lips can heal themselves.  It also has 5% Panthenol which helps with inflammation and soothes the skin.

This stuff is amazing lads.  It’s really thick when first squeezed out of the tube, but once you start working it into the lips, it melts and gets to work.  It doesn’t feel greasy or feel that it’s just sitting on top of the lips.  I saw and felt a difference in my lips after using it for a day and I don’t think another lip balm will get a look in now to be honest.  If you’re a fan of Avene’s Cold Cream Lip Treatment, this feels the same, but is a fiver cheaper at €6.50. A must have for the colder weather people.  I was sent this but will 100% be purchasing more for my desk, handbag and at home.  This is in pharmacies nationwide, so go forth, treat your lips and you won’t look back, promise!
