Oh but it does so much more than giving you a sheer and perfect finish. First up, the formula contains green powder to cancel out redness and blemishes, blue powder to cancel out dark spots and circles and white powder to cancel visible pores. Sounds like a lot is going on in that little container eh? Speaking of which, the tube is plastic, lightweight, and perfect for travelling or carrying around with you in your make up bag.
Now, you know that I've been enjoying wearing foundations that are on the sheer side lately and am enjoying pretending that my skin is naturally flawless. Well lads, Sheer and Perfect makes it look like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. You can see in the photos below that it evens out my skin tone, reduces redness on my schnozz and cheeks and gives a flawless finish. What you can't see in the photos is that it really does conceal the rather massive pores on my nose, but rather than sitting in them for all the world to see, camouflages them beautifully.
The highly pigmented foundation is very fluid in consistency and a little goes a long way. I've been using a buffing brush to work in into my skin and the shade I was given is ever so slightly too dark for me, but once I apply some to my neck, I'm happy out.
It feels so lightweight on my skin and when I apply it at 7am, it stays put all day. The only thing is my nose gets a bit shiny at around lunch time, but nothing that a quick top up of powder can't help. It contains SPF15, protecting your skin from the rays that burn and age you. We don't want to burn or age sure we don't?
Shiseido Sheer and Perfect is on counters now, and at €35, it's a fantastic foundation. I'm talking possible contender for favourite foundation of the year. I know. Huge claim there!
