Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water review

Seriously, with releases like this, the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, we have no excuse whatsoever not to remove our makeup and cleanse our skin properly!

Suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin, the cleansing water is so gentle on the skin, even I can use it on my sensitive eyes and we know how I've had issues with pink eye over the years. This removes my makeup, mascara included and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed and smooth.  There's no tight feeling after using it and no need to rinse it off or double cleanse, just grand clean skin and that's what life is all about isn't it?!

This retails for €7.69 for a whopping 400ml bottle but when I plonked up a photo of it on Instagram over the weekend, a few ladies said they'd seen it cheaper in their local chemists and in Penneys, so stock up folks.

I'll definitely be picking up more of these because it's fantastic value for money and a brilliant, no frills, does what it says on the tin, micellar cleanser.

  2. I can't find this in the states yet, but I can't wait to try it once it lands! Truly gentle products are tough to come by.

    1. Hopefully you guys will get it soon. I can always tell how gentle and effective a product is by how it affects my eyes and if it removes mascara so this is a great one for me :)

  3. Will definitely be trying this! Especially if it removes eye makeup! I can't find anything gentle enough for my eyes but that will also remove all of my eye makeup.

    1. It deffo works on my mascara. I'd two different ones layered yesterday and it removed it no hassle last night and didn't irritate my eyeballs. And this morning, there was no leftover mascara residue!

  4. Lovely stuff. Its €3.80 in Penneys at the mo. I still love my double cleanse so I've been using it as a second cleanse / toner and my skin loves it. Now just to get my hands on the Vit E serum in oil from the Body Shop but as I'll be in the UK next month I think I'll just hold out! Stop making my list longer!

  5. I can't wait to try this out - I haven't seen it in Boots yet, as it is always sold out! I hear it is pretty much a dupe for Bioderma :)

  6. I just bought a bottle at my local Lidl (discount store that sells food but also new things every week) ages after everybody did ! I tried it once already and it looks like it is effective at removing my mascara and mineral make-up. But I do get a "tight feeling" just after application so I have to rinse it out (I would do it anyway because micellar "bubbles" aren't gonna stay on my face all night and under my moisturizer I tell you !)
It was more expensive than my usual products (almost 5€, I'm a cheap one) but if I really get out 200 applications out of it as it says on the bottle and a cleaned face each time it may be worth it.
