Favourite Five #17

Sure it was only a short week at work, but it didn't make it any less busy or tiring!  But we won't dwell on that, as it's time for my Favourite Five!  These are the five posts that made me laugh, think, ponder, drool and want to buy all of the things.  So let's get to it!

1
When Temptalia gives something full marks, you sit up and take notice.  And it just so happens that this week, two products got the very rare 45/45!  First is Chanel Cheeky (79) Le Blush Creme de Chanel which I'm going to have to investigate as it might make for a good bronzer for me and the second is Chanel's Illusion d'Ombre Eyeshadow in Mirage, a wonderful bronze shade that I guarantee I'd get a lot of wear out of...  Obviously need them both...

I'd heard news of Charlotte Tilbury's makeup range coming to Brown Thomas a couple of months ago and it's true!  Check out Frillseeker's post showing lots of drool worthy photos of all the things I need.... I say need because it's the truth.... Oh God, I am so screwed when that launches and Space NK opens...

I'm so happy that one of my favourite Irish beauty bloggers is back blogging again because I've missed her!  Total Makeup Addict is back and making me want to buy MAC which is mad, but look at the gorgeous blush in the shade Blushbaby.  It looks riiiiiiight up my street and if it gives me cheekbones like Aisling's, then I'm sold!

Now this next post was written a couple of weeks ago, but I only read it this week, so I'm totally putting it in my favourite five and you'll see why!  Sharon from Behind Green Eyes made me snort at my desk at work with one of the funniest posts I've read in ages and if you want to see how she got on with the W7 Brow Bar, then click here!  Too funny!

This week's Youtuber is the fabulous Joanne Larby!  I watched her video this week where she worked with the Electric Palette from Urban Decay and while I'd never be able to recreate the look myself, I've watched the tutorial twice!  Girlfriend has some serious makeup skills so do yourself a favour and subscribe to her here.  She's Irish, she's gorgeous and she's got lots more where this came from!

  1. Oowwww - I've pulled a muscle in my side and nearly died laughing at the Brow Bar experience! Why do so many girls think eyebrows that look like they're drawn on with a white board marker is a good look? Especially as its usually accompanied by thick murky foundation and no lips.
