DKNY Be Delicious Skin Hydrating EDT - Fresh Blossom - A wonderful spring time scent!

Back in the day, one of my favourite fancier perfumes was DKNY Be Delicious and I went through a couple of the green bottles, only to have a bit of overkill and I forgot all about them.  Then just before Christmas, I was given a bottle of the DKNY Be Delicious Skin in Fresh Blossom and put it aside until spring, assuming it would hit the spot once the sun started shining and I was right!

They've replaced the traditional apple shaped bottle with something curvier and more modern and something that looks pretty on my dressing table.  It also dispenses a mist rather than a squirt which leads me on to the next feature.  What makes this different to the traditional fragrance and to it's predecessor is that it has skin-boosting benefits to optimise the look and feel of skin.  It has the "Apple Fusion Complex", a mix of ingredients that have been proven to help moisturise, smooth and brighten the skin.  I can't attest to seeing or feeling any changes in my skin, but now that I sit here and stroke my neck like a weirdo, it does feel a little bit more hydrated.

I've been spraying this on like a good thing as the days have become brighter.  It's so light and bright and immediately lifts my mood.  And I'm probably a bit doo-lally but I do believe it smells even better when the sun is shining!

With notes of apple, cucumber and grapefruit to give the zing and fruitness we'd excpect with a light scent like this, the background notes of sandalwood, blonde woods and amber add a softness to it and pulls it back from being a scent just for the young ones.  In terms of strength of fragrance, it's on the body spray end of the scale, meaning it lasts about an hour and a half before I feel like I need to top it up which sounds a bit rubbish, but you're using less each time as it's a mist compared to a regular perfume.

I can't find this version of the scent online but I've seen it in Arnotts and the green version is available too for €48.  Definitely worth checking out if you're on the market for a lovely spring scent.
