MAC Philip Treacy Eye makeup look ft Genuine Treasure Royal Wink

MAC recently had a Philip Treacy collection on counters and while it might be gone from stores now, it's still available online at time of writing this here post.  I've been obsessed with two of the eye products from the collection and had to show them to you on the off chance you might be able to get your hands on them because they're pretty special.

First up is MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure (€19).  This shimmery bronze cream can be used as an eyeshadow base or on it's own.  I've been wearing this so much on it's own as a wash of sparkly beauty all over the eyelids and have found that even without a primer, it lasts a good 6-7 hours before the slight hint of creasing happens.  That's not too shabby for an oily lidded person sure it's not?  I've been wearing it to work, out after work and I find it's best to apply it with my finger to the lid and then blend out the edges with a brush.  Applying it with your finger will give a wash of colour and using a brush will help up the intensity of the shade big time.

What I've found myself doing a lot over the past month is wearing the most gorgeous blue liner on the waterline and smudged slightly under the lower lashes.  People, sit down because you're going to need the MAC's Fluidline in the shaw Royal Wink (€19).

This is why.

To say I can't cope with how gorgeous it is would be an understatement and wearing colour on the waterline is one of my favourite things to do, especially in the summer when it's a bright shade like Royal Wink.  In some light it looks like a true royal blue and in others it looks like a periwinkle blue, either way, I blahddy love it and after posting photos on Instagram and Snapchat wearing it and filmed a video wearing it, I'd so many comments saying how gorgeous it looked.

I might not be able to achieve a nice clean winged line on the upper lash line, especially if I'm pushed for time, but I'll always be able to do this on the lower waterline!  There's a stunning turquoise shade in the collection too that I want and need because it's too gorgeous not to have.  Simple as.  And if you're looking for more justifications, having a coloured liner like this in your stash is always handy because it can be used on the eyelids as an eyeshadow base under eyeshadow and will not only help your shadow stay put for longer, but it'll help it look even more intense!

The Philip Treacy collection is available online at the moment, so if it's gone from stores, do yourself a favour and check these out.  Ooh, it's still on the Brown Thomas website too right now.
