I'm a bit late with this review but better late than never! A few weeks ago, some gorgeous IsaDora products made their way to Lovely Girlie Towers and when I caught sight of the Face Sculptor in Sun Glow, I squeaked. See that coral blush shade? Yeah, that was made for my face.
The trio contains a matte bronzer, a glow bronzer and blush which all work perfectly together like a big happy family. I like to apply them and then pretend I've just come back from Spain and am all sun kissed and glowy, when in actual fact I've piled the makeup on to fake it till I make it. I'm talking layers people. It feels like forever ago since I was in Spain, so I need all the help I can get.
Like IsaDora's previous Face Sculptor I've mentioned many times and reviewed here, this one is absolutely beautiful and as near perfection as you can get when it comes to cheek products. The matte bronzer isn't too orange toned and gives me some much needed pretend cheekbones. The glow bronzer gives a J Lo sheen to the skin, the likes of which finds me catching myself in good light and tilting my head back and forth with my highlight on fleek. And as for that coral blush.... There's something wrong with you if you don't want to take the product and apply it directly to your face from the pan... Or is there something wrong with me for wanting to do that? No, course not. Perfectly normal talk.
How does one use the Face Sculptor?
1. With your pasty bleh face, take a long, hard look in the mirror and get ready for Step 2.
2. Apply the matte bronzer to the contours of your cheekbones, and anywhere else you want to sculpt and pretend you're back from your holliers.
3. Take the coral blush and apply it to your cheekbones and sweep upwards. With each brush stroke, you can watch the life come back into your complexion and you know that all is well in the world and you're on the home stretch now.
4. Taking the glow bronzer, apply it to the tops of the cheekbones and anywhere else you want to highlight and look all sun kissed. With the perfect balance of bronze and glow, you cannot mess up with this shade.
I can't get enough of this trio and if you're heading away anytime soon, this would be perfect for travelling. I am going to be travelling to and from work for the rest of the year, so this will be put to good use.
I hope this is still on IsaDora stands and if it is, you need to check it out. It's €25.50 which sounds spendy, but here comes lady mathematics. Three cheek products for €25.50 is €8.50 per product. There you go. Bargaintown!
