Lush Big Shampoo

I love trying new shampoos and after reading some reviews on Lush Big Shampoo, I decided to try it out.  Lush says "All new life affirming shampoo for more shine than you thought possible.  Give hair the volume it deserves, with seaweed infusion  to soften the hair and citrus juices for shine."

I gotta try anything that promises more shine, right?!

The texture of this shampoo is just weird :)  It's sea salt in vaseline, really gritty and jelly like.  But once you get over that aspect, you're grand.  It smells really earthy and natural, not unpleasant, but not something you'd think ooh that smells lovely!

This stuff lathers so well.  The first time I used it, I took out a big dollop and worked it into my hair, only to find it created too many suds, so I know now to take less than a tablespoon's worth.  Every time I use it, it still feels weird working it into my hair.  The salt doesn't fully dissolve and it basically does feel like rubbing salt in vaseline into my hair :)

It leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean, soft and shiny.  This makes me very happy :)

The pictures above are of a 45g container that was part of a set Lush were selling earlier in the year.  It is £9.90 for the standard 330g container, so it's expensive, but most of the lush haircare is anyway.  I use them when I want to treat my hair because they work well for me and my hair always looks the better of having used them.

I would definately recommend this, even just to experience rubbing salt into your hair!  I will repurchase this again for sure.
