Origins: A Perfect World Body Cream Review

This is my absolute favourite body cream hands down.  I first bought this when I lived in Canada a few years ago after seeing it on Oprah.  It was featured on her Favourite Things show, where she spoke about how she wore it all the time and everyone would ask her what perfume she was wearing.  So I needed to have this and promptly marched down to the nearest Origins seller to get it and as soon as I smelled it, I was in love.

The Origins website says:

"It's paradise found as this creamy-rich, aromatic oasis coddles body skin to noticeable smoothness. Highly-hydrating Shea Butter deletes scratchy, flaky dryness. Mimosa sleekens slacking skin-texture so it looks and feels more taut, more toned. And to preserve body skin's vibrant, healthful lift and life, utopia's own Silver Tip White Tea banishes youth offenders long before they can cause oxidation, deterioration, dehydration."

I have normal skin but in the winter it gets really dry.  I work in an office where I sit directly under the air con, so I really have to take care of my skin.  This body cream is pretty expensive at £26, so I treat myself to it during those winter months and it is completely worth the money.  It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy and takes care of my dry elbows in no time.  It has a lovely peachy smell that isn't overpowering and is absorbed into my skin quickly.  Below you can see the consistency of the cream, it's nice and thick.

I also have A Perfect World Body Lotion and while it has the same scent, it is much lighter in consistency, but still moisturises well.  I will be writing a post about A Perfect World White Tea Skin Guardian that deserves a post for itself, so expect that soon.

So in conclusion, if you want a gorgeous, luxurious body cream, I cannot recommend this enough.  Winter is coming, so treat yourself :)

  1. Partial to Origins Grapefruit and Ginger ranges. But this sounds really good. Might try it next. Attempting to get through the entire Origins ranges LOL

  2. I'm the same, I wanna try them all hehe A friend gave me the Ginger Souffle Body Cream a while back but every time I put it on, I felt like I smelled of biscuits hehe
